Cancellation Policy
At Beyond the Brush, every appointment is carefully planned to ensure each dog receives the time, patience and individual care they deserve. Please read the following policy before booking your appointment. Appointments: Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in your appointment being shortened, rescheduled or cancelled if there is insufficient time to complete the groom safely. If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations & No-Shows: We kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost. Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice (a no-show) may result in the full appointment cost being charged and future bookings requiring payment in advance. Matting: Your dog's welfare will always come first. If your dog's coat is severely matted, clipping may be the safest and kindest option. We will discuss the available options with you wherever possible before proceeding. Additional charges may apply where extra time and care are required due to matting. Fleas & Parasites: If fleas or other external parasites are discovered during your dog's appointment, appropriate action will be taken to protect the salon and other dogs. A salon cleaning fee may be charged to cover the additional cleaning and treatment required. Health & Behaviour: Please inform us before your appointment of any medical conditions, allergies, mobility issues, recent surgery, behavioural concerns or if your dog is in season. This allows us to make any reasonable adjustments to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. Welfare-Led Grooming: Every dog is treated with kindness, patience and respect. If your dog becomes overly distressed, anxious or unsafe to continue, the groom may be adapted, paused or ended early in the interests of their welfare and the safety of everyone involved. Charges may still apply for work completed and the appointment time reserved. Payment: Payment is due on completion of your appointment unless otherwise agreed in advance. Our Promise: At Beyond the Brush, your dog's welfare will always take priority over achieving the perfect haircut. We believe in creating calm, positive grooming experiences built on trust, patience and understanding
